Reconciliations
Regular reconciliations provide better financial control
Reconciliations are an important part of maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts. We review and reconcile areas including bank accounts, customers, suppliers, VAT, payroll and balance sheet accounts.
The frequency of reconciliations is adapted to the size and needs of the business. For larger companies, certain areas, such as bank accounts, may be followed up continuously, while for smaller businesses we agree on a schedule that is appropriate for the client.
In connection with VAT reporting and year-end closing, we carry out the necessary checks of the accounts and supporting documentation. We also follow up relevant matters such as mandatory occupational pensions (OTP) and occupational injury insurance. If we identify discrepancies, missing information or errors, we investigate the cause and work to clarify and correct them.
For us, reconciliation is not simply about making sure the numbers match. It is also an important way of identifying errors or missing information at an early stage and providing both us and the client with a better overview of the company’s financial situation.
Reporting tailored to the client
Our clients receive periodic reports according to what we have agreed with them. These may include quarterly reports, half-year reports or other reporting adapted to the client’s needs. All our clients also receive an annual report with comments.
We believe that reports should not only be accurate, but also understandable. Comments and explanations can therefore be provided in the language the client is most comfortable with, for example Polish and Norwegian or Norwegian and English.
